Online Training

In effort to bring critical information on aging and elder issues to a broader audience, ElderSource Institute also offers training programs with CEUs online. Below are the trainings currently available online. Please follow the link to register. After you purchase a course, an email will be sent to you with your unique link to the training. Online trainings are not “scheduled” and can be accessed and completed on your own time.

*Note: At this time CEUs are only offered to individuals in the state of Florida. If you purchase CEUs for credit outside the state of Florida we cannot guarantee credit and you will not be refunded.

This is a 1.5 hour interactive and comprehensive online course for community members and professionals who interact with and work with older adults. This training is designed to raise awareness about types of abuse, risk factors, and indicators of abuse as well as mandated reporters and the reporting process.

This is a 1.5 hour interactive and comprehensive online course. This course is designed to fill an educational gap for professionals who work with older adults; to help them to better understand key concepts, vocabulary, and the many barriers faced by older adults in the LGBT community.

 

This is a 2 hour interactive and informative training offered online for individuals to take at their own pace. The Missing Pieces Plan was created to ensure the “softer issues,” often overlooked in traditional plans, are incorporated into your plan so you leave a legacy, not a mess. Developed by Jody Giles, this training is carefully designed for professionals and individuals who care about their own aging.
