Striving to Create an Environment of Understanding and Access

According to US Census Bureau reports, over 56 million Americans have a disability.

Disability Sensitivity and Inclusion covers basic etiquette and inclusion practices for individuals, companies and organizations who interact and work with individuals who have a disability. Being more sensitive and competent regarding disabilities not only helps you to better serve the individuals you work and interact with, but, in the workplace, it also supports employees with disabilities to feel more comfortable and work more productively.

This 1 hour online training was developed from material provided by the United Spinal Association.

Learning Outcomes Include:
  • Defining key terminology
